“ I came in on a super busy Saturday seeing people happily waiting for tables. The food and drinks were phenomenal, only thing that beat the incredible flavors was the incredible service! 1010 perfect experience. I got the queso and the Carne Asada, which were both stellar. Rice and beans were great, the Tortillas were the best Ive ever had, nice and fluffy, and both the flaquita and trio margarita were amazing! Lesa and Lindsay made me feel like VIP! Then they brought out the habanero salsa when I asked for something spicy and now Im gonna be here everyday to try everything starting with camarones tropicales next! Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience, to many many more as my new favorite restaurant! update I tried the camarones tropicales and I really cant decide between that or Carne asada as my favorite meal in San Antonio. Butterflied Jumbo Shrimp, stuffed with cream cheese and Serrano then wrapped in bacon? They also skewered onion bell pepper and grilled pineapple to help tame the heat which was amazing. 5 dollar margaritas all day Wednesday, live music Thursday through Sunday, and a playground for the kids to run around while the adults can catch up on whats important. I absolutely LOVE Violas Ventanas. ”

“ Had not been here in years! It was SO good! Chilaquiles 1010, Carne Guisada was the best Ive ever had in my 39 years. Sweet tea on point. Restaurant is BEAUTIFUL, and the playground with a patio outside to eat in peace while watching the kids is a huge bonus. Well be back! ”

“ We were in town for a few days and this restaurant was on our hotel restaurant listing. The reviews looked great and it was close to our resort, so we gave it a try. The food, customer service and atmosphere were awesome!! We went during lunch time, so there was no wait. Yadira was very friendly, professional, attentive and kind. She provided everything we needed without us having to ask. The back patio, which I saw through our nearby window, was so inviting with beautiful flowers and fall decorations. It was really warm outside, so we chose an indoor table instead. We selected the fajitas for two and added shrimp. It was SO delicious!! Their Chile Con Queso and homemade chips were also soo delicious! We would certainly eat here again!! ”

“ Located on San Antonios west side, this establishment is part of the Barrios restaurant group and named after their matriarch Viola. The restaurant building is majestic, grandiose, beautiful. A great place for events and large gatherings, as the dining rooms are large and various. There is also a large outdoor eating area that is scenic as well and has an outside bar area and accommodates large gatherings or events. The food is on par with the other family restaurants and offers a large menu as well as having a well stocked bar that also has a few tables for those who prefer the bar area to watch sports events. The restaurant offers daily lunch specials, early bird specials and drink specials throughout the week. This restaurant is frequented by tourists, blue collar workers, and nearby office workers. The cheese enchiladas are some of my favorite as are the green enchiladas. ”

Food was delivered quickly and all at the same time as the people at our table. Prices were moderate and you left feeling satisfied and wanting to come back!
